The name "Eiffel" was chosen randomly by a computer program and the "65" was scribbled onto their name on a demo by mistake it was actually part of a phone number. The origin of the group’s name is an interesting sequence of chance. Best know for their international hit "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" Eiffel 65’s debut album "Europop" sold over two million units in the US, making them the best selling Italian eurodance group ever in the United States. Eiffel 65 is a three man (Gianfranco Randone, Maurizio Lobina, and Gabriele Ponte) Italian eurodance group.
